What was needed. VisitGuernsey and the Chamber of Commerce tourism sub-group were seeking ways to raise the standards of customer service and local product knowledge for employees within the tourism and hospitality sector – hence ensuring a top quality visitor experience.
What we did. We designed, co-ordinated and now deliver a full programme using a blended training approach. This includes classroom sessions on customer service, walking tours and island knowledge training with Guernsey’s accredited guides. We also look after the social media and marketing communications for the programme on an on-going basis.
